Buffalo Roam | Hot Tub + Nature in Town

Great property for home base while exploring western SD Positive: This property is very close to town so that you can walk everywhere. Great location for exploring all the region has to offer. The home was clean and ready upon arrival. The property is a family run business and the owners were very responsive and gave very helpful instructions.

It was a great place to stay! Very clean, hottub was great. We even had deer in the back yard over the fence to look at. Great location and lots of parking!

No AC- loud location Positive: There is no AC in unit 4. This was not clear in the description when booking. So the bedroom windows had to be open due to it being hot and then the smoke from surrounding campfires came in as well as noise from the No Tell Motel next door. We left after one night. I usually give great reviews but just can’t on this unit. Negative: Covered above

No microwave, no dressers in the bedroom to put clothes. I was told i was supposed to hang everything up including underwear on on of the 4 hangers provided. The washer was not plugged in and had no plce to plug it in, maintenence brought by a extension cord to run across the floor. First you arent supposed to plug a washer into a extension cord and second it was a trip hazard. No ceiling fans and no a/c so you had to rely on opening the windows. Then you got the smell of the dumpster of the restaurant next door. The flys were so bad we couldn't even sit out on the patio. When i complained to the owner about the washer i was told to go to the laundry mat. I use VRBO 2 or 3 times a year i have never had to stay in a dump like this. The owner doesnt care. If your are going to Custer...do not stay here!

Anniversary getaway Positive: Very beautiful, and serene enjoyed the hottub. Very spacious and private. Really nice place. Negative: The grass wasn't cut, so our shoes and pants got wet when having our bonfire and washer didn't work.
