Mountain View Gem: Firepit + Sauna + Wildlife

Positive: The cabin was clean and well maintained. It had a nice driveway/parking area. I liked the electronic door lock. The patio/deck had a nice view and the table & chairs were great. The outside firepit was also great. The grounds were well maintained. If they reduced their pricing (the additional fees & taxes made the rental $200+ per night which is too much for a small one bedroom cabin), corrected the errors in the posting and addressed the negative issues that I listed below, I would stay here again. Negative: Viewing tv was by subscription only, no normal tv stations. If you had a subscription but didn't know your login details, you were out of luck. This should have been mentioned in the listing details. The sofa/sleeper in the living room was VERY uncomfortable and there was only one chair; there are 2 chairs in the photos. We sat on pillows on the floor to watch tv. The sofa/sleeper needs to be replaced. The "home details" section of the listing was inaccurate. it indicated that the bedroom included a sofa bed, it did not. It also indicated that "the unit has 3 beds"; it did not. In the "Facilities" section of the listing, it listed that the cabin had a fireplace, it did not. The listing also indicated that "The fireplace is a standard feature of this holiday home"; this is not true. We could not connect either of our iPhones to WIFI.

Positive: Very beautiful and off the beaten path. Negative: Bed was very hard.

The property was very peaceful and was a good location for the various activities in and around Custer. The app was a brilliant way to communicate all the details! Definitely enjoyed starting my day with a sauna!! Thanks so much!

Stayed 5 nights. Great scenic location located 5 miles from Custer just off the main highway. Very clean and spacious.

This was our second stay in this cabin. We love the location within the park and easy access to all nearby natural attractions. The cabin was the perfect size for our family of four with many amenities to pass the time if you're relaxing on site. We had a great night's sleep in the main bed. The sofa bed, however, sank in the middle and was uncomfortable to sleep on for more than one grown person. The views from the cabin are absolutely magical!
